Harton Primary School hosts a nurturing, safe and welcoming Nursery that is open 8.45am until 3.20pm every day. Our Nursery consists of a large, open planned room with carefully designed areas to ensure children are able to children to build solid foundations for future learning. We also have a well-resourced and stimulating outdoor area, which is a firm favourite with the children that currently attend our setting. At Harton we work together with parents to ensure we provide the very best opportunities for all children.

Applying for a Nursery Place

You can apply for a place for your child by calling into the main office once your child turns two, you simply need to bring your child’s birth certificate and proof of your address. If you require any additional information please call 0191 4562150.

Our Session Times

 We are pleased to offer Nursery hours that fit around your busy schedule!

Please note all sessions are term time only.

Morning session: Monday to Friday 8.45am-11.45am (15 hours)

Afternoon session: Monday to Friday 12.20pm-3.20pm (15 hours)

30 Hour Offer

We are pleased to offer 30 hours free childcare for those who are eligible.

The 30 hour offer is Monday to Friday 8.45am-3.20pm. Lunchtime is an additional session from 11.45am-12.20pm each day. If you are eligible for the 30 hour offer and would like your child to stay for lunch this would cost £30 at the beginning of each half term. This payment is non refundable and works out at less than £1 per day. Payments can be made via Parent Pay. We would also ask that you provide a healthy packed lunch for your child.
