We all really enjoyed our French day in Nursery. We made the Eiffel Tower, tasted French food and listened to French music.
We get eggs delivered to school every Spring. These are very special eggs because they come in an incubator. Over the days, we get to see the chicks hatch out of their shells.I t is very hard work. So far, five chicks have hatched. Maybe some more will hatch soon?
We made a film about the chicks. We hope you like it.
….And by Saturday – all 10 chicks had hatched. Here they are enjoying breakfast!
This week we have been finding out all about Chinese New Year.
We have created art work and tasted Chinese food.
Due to weather conditions, Harton Primary School will remain closed on Friday, 2nd March.
As there has been no improvement to the weather and icy conditions are forecast overnight, Harton Primary School will remain closed on Thursday 1st March.
World Book Day will be rescheduled for a future date.
Nursery’s visit to Cleadon Park Library
Bumble Bees and Grasshoppers, Butterflies and Ladybirds were very excited about their visit to the library.
We put on our coats, hats and gloves and off we went to the Library with our teachers, mums, dads and grandparents.
We listened to a super story and also had time to create a teddy bear, just like the one in the story.
On Tuesday we had some very special visitors in Nursery…Tiny Tweeties, we were all very excited!
During our wake up and shake up sessions and singing time we sing lots of Tiny Tweety songs and move to the music with actions.
We sang lots hello songs, played instruments, puppets, calm down songs to end our session.
